SphereCel SBF CM is a pre-compressed, stitch-bonded glass fibre material which is volumized through embedded thermoplastic micro spheres and laminar flow media that is added in the middle of the layers.
SphereCel SBF CM is amended with an additional polypropylene core (flow medium). It is suitable for the production of stable and, at the same time, light homogeneous laminates. An ideal material for sandwich laminates.This product is available in thicknesses of 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm and is combined with glass layers (fabric, textile or glass mats) on the outsides. The resin impregnation, also that of the additional glass layers, takes place via the flow medium in the middle. Excellent for LRTM applications to eliminate need for multiple layer placements of reinforcements.
This material comes in 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm thicknesses.
